The Cards are coming off their Big East opener victory over Providence last Wednesday and will travel to Seton Hall tomorrow.

Louisville, now ranked third in the AP Poll and fourth in the Coaches Poll, takes a nine game winning streak into New Jersey to face the Pirates in their first Big East road game of the season. The Cards last met the Pirates in the second round of the Big East Championship, when Louisville got the best of Seton Hall winning 61-55.

Seton Hall is looking to bounce back after snapping a seven game winning streak with their 93-74 loss at Notre Dame last week. The Pirates are second in the Big East in 3-point field goal percentage, shooting a little over 38 percent. They are led by Junior guard Fuquan Edwin who averages 17.9 points a game, which is fourth in the Big East in scoring, behind Louisville’s own Russ Smith who averages  20.0. Junior Center, Eugene Teague, is second in the Big East in rebounds averaging 8.5 a game in his first year wearing a Pirates uniform.

The game will be played Wednesday, January 2nd, at 7:00PM in Newark, N.J. and televised nationally on ESPN 2.
