Upset in Philly

Ryan Arcidiacono had a team high 15 points to lead the Villanova Wildcats to a 73-64 upset over the fifth ranked Louisville Cardinals.

Achraf Yacoubou hit a three-pointer with just under 4 minutes left in the game to break a 53-53 tie and Villanova never trailed again.

The Cards shot just 39% from the floor for the game and 12-24 from the foul line. Russ Smith who is averaging 20 points a game was a non-factor on offense with only 8 points on the night. Chane Behanan also struggled with 5 points going 3-9 from the foul line.

Louisville was led by Wayne Blackshear with 17 points and Peyton Siva added 15. Louisville will travel to Georgetown Saturday to try to get back in the win column. The Hoyas are coming off a road win at Notre Dame.
