The Cards are looking to get back on the right side of the score board after losing two straight Big East games against Syracuse and at Villanova. Last year’s team lost back-to-back Big East games in early January. The first came in double overtime against Notre Dame, then again at Providence. The Cardinals finished the Big East season 10-8 and won the Big East Tournament Championship.

Louisville (16-3) travels to Washington D.C. to take on Georgetown (13-4) Saturday afternoon. The Hoyas defeated the Cardinals in a close 71-68 game in the Yum! Center last December.

Georgetown is coming off a convincing 63-47 win at Notre Dame on Monday. The Hoyas are led by their phenom Sophomore Forward, Otto Potter. Porter is in nearly all Big East top statistical standing including: 12th in scoring with 14.6 a game, 4th in rebounding averaging almost 8 a game and 10th in field goal percentage shooting over 50 percent from the field.

The Cardinals are second in the Big East scoring producing almost 76 points a game. The Hoyas are second in the Big East scoring defense only allowing almost 56 points a game.

Key to the game: Louisville’s defensive pressure is too much for the Hoyas to handle.

Prediction: Louisville wins 74-58
