The Cardinals (24-5) host the Cincinnati Bearcats (20-9) tomorrow, March 4th, inside the KFC Yum! Center. The two schools are separated by only 105 miles up the 71 expressway.

The Bearcats, led by junior guard, Sean Kilpatrick, are coming off their win against the UConn Huskies 61-56 at home. Kilpatrick lead the team in scoring with 39 points, and is 5th in the Big East in scoring averaging almost 18 points a game.

Louisville is coming into the game against the Bearcats with a 5 game winning streak and winning eight of their last nine games. The Cardinals are coming off a big win against Syracuse 58-53 at the Carrier Dome, which is one of the hardest arenas in college basketball to walk into and get a victory.

Last season, UC defeated Louisville 60-56

in Cincinnati, but the Cardinals got their revenge in the Big East Tournament championship game. The Cards got the best of the Bearcats, beating them 50-44.

Louisville transfer, Luke Hancock, has caught fire with his jump shot lately and will need his hot hand in this rivalry game. UC is looking to pad their resume for the NCAA committee to get into the tournament. A win against the Cardinals will be the victory they need.

The Cards lead the Big East in scoring averaging 73.8 points a game. The Bearcats are tied with Villanova for 8th averaging 68.4 points a game.

The game starts at 7:00 and will be televised on ESPN.
