Despite Louisville’s great season last year, only a couple (literally, there’s only two) of players from that team are even so much as MENTIONED in draft talk for this year. Most of this is due, in part, to the fact that last year, UofL was a team chock-full of juniors and sophomores. Of the seniors from last year’s class, only two are projected to actually go in the draft-Adrian Bushell (CB) is a projected sixth rounder, and Mario Benavides (C) who is projected 7th round if he’s lucky, possibly not even drafted at all. Next year there will obviously be some more Cards higher up on the mock drafts, but until then, all of Louisville’s draft hopes are in the hands of these two players.
7.(222) Adrian Bushell – CB – Louisville. CB depth will need to be added later and Bushell is an underrated cover corner. #NFLDraft32in32
