Louisville’s Omaha Schedule Has Been Set

Louisville vs Indiana:  the rematch of UofL’s 4-3 win from early May; The Ohio River Rivalry that never ceases to entertain; the second game of the 2013 College World Series.

That’s right, the schedule for the College World Series has been released and set, with the following 8 teams separated into two respective pods of UofL, IU, Miss St, and Oregon State and the other pod being LSU, UCLA, NC State, and UNC.

Louisville will play their first game vs IU this Saturday at 8 pm ET/7 pm CT.  Regardless of winning or losing to IU, Louisville will play again on Monday against either Miss State or Oregon State.  The game times will vary though, as a loss forces them to play at 3 pm on Monday, whereas a win forces them to play at 8 pm on Monday.

For the first time in six years, the Cards will be taking the field in Omaha.  It’s going to be absolutely great and fun for the entire city and nation-wide fanbase.  Win or lose, I know I’ll still be proud of what this team has accomplished.  Go Cards.

Full bracket can be found here.
