JaQuan Lyle to Louisville!

After months upon months of anticipation, JaQuan Lyle has finally committed to a school.  The lucky school of choice?  The Louisville Cardinals.  That’s right, the 6’5″ guard from Evansville, Indiana, turned down offers from Florida, Ohio State, Tennessee, and others, to commit to the Louisville Cardinals.

This is obviously a humongous gain for Louisville, as Lyle is a 5-star guard and one of the top players in the 2014 recruiting class.  He’s a terrific shooter with good size and strength.  Most were saying Lyle would select Louisville, as in everyone doing crystal ball predictions for 247Sports, but it’s good to finally know it’s all over and that he’s going to be a Cardinal.  And who knows; this may impact Trey Lyles decision.  Lyles is an Indianapolis PF who is thought to want to play wherever Lyle does.  That would just be terrific.

I can’t wait for the 2014 class to get into the program.  Going to be a great team.  The future just keeps looking brighter and brighter for Cards fans.
