After this tweet from Tommy Restivo, many were waiting to see who it was that the Cards had snagged:

Now we know. It’s Cameron Polk, a 3-star WR from Fishers, Indiana. Polk, a 6’1″, 185 pound receiver, is the 18th commit for Louisville in the 2014 recruiting class. It isn’t much of a surprise, as many were predicting it’d be Louisville or Indiana that he chose. Polk turned down offers from IU, and a myriad of MAC schools: Toledo, Western Michigan, Ohio, UMass, Eastern Michigan, and Ball State.
Important distinction here on new commit Cam Polk. Listed as ATH. Plays WR in high school, can also play DB, return kicks/punts.

Polk is now the Cards’ 20th commit in the 2014 class. They have been absolutely tearing up the recruiting trail the past few days. Unreal.
