Former Cardinal Dace Kime Makes His First Professional Start

Great news today as former Cardinals Pitcher Dace Kime is making his first start in his professional baseball career tonight.  Kime was drafted in the 3rd round of this year’s MLB Draft by the Cleveland Indians.  The team he’s starting for tonight is the Indians’ Class A Short-Season team, the Mahoning Valley Scrappers.

Throughout the night, I’ll give updates about how Kime is doing, etc.  He’s a great pitcher with infinite potential, and I’m really sad to see him leave Louisville, but it’s awesome to know he’ll be pitching in the pros tonight.

Also, they’re apparently doing a Tom Petty-themed fireworks show at the game tonight, for what it’s worth.
