Louisville a Unanimous Favorite in the Hall of Fame Tip-Off

It is never too early to start talking about Louisville basketball. Especially after the National Championship run they went on last season.

The Hall of Fame Tip-Off bracket was announced today and Louisville and North Carolina are the headliners. The tournament will be held at Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on November 23-24. The line up is as follows:

Nov. 23: North Carolina vs. Richmond (Noon ET, ESPN3); Louisville vs. Fairfield (2, ESPN3)

Nov. 24: Championship game (1 p.m. ET, ESPN); Consolation game (3, ESPN3)

The experts are unanimously picking Louisville over North Carolina in the championship game. Dana O’Neil, a college basketball writer for ESPN.com, has two Cardinals listed as players to watch in the tournament: Russ Smith and Chris Jones. The full article can be see here.

It is always good to see Louisville in the ESPN spotlight like they have been this sports season. Luke Hancock and Montrezl Harrell have been out representing our country in their respected age divisions. It is great to see them out and playing well. Hopefully that will transfer into the college basketball season.
