Cards In The NCAA Ranks; Plus Ken Pomeroy Rankings

It took a couple of months but the Louisville basketball finally scored their first quality win of the season, a 71-63 victory over the SMU Mustangs. Here is a look at where the Cards find themselves in the NCAA statistical rankings.

Louisville is T-2nd in scoring margin (20.8 SCR MAR); 2nd in turnover margin (7.4 Ratio); 4th in steals (10.1 STPG); 24th in assist turnover ratio (1.46 Ratio); and 17th in scoring offense (83.8 PPG).

In the updated Ken Pomeroy rankings, the Cards are rated 13th best overall.

Up next, the Cards will play Houston (10-6, 2-1 AAC) Thursday night in the KFC YUM! Center. Tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network.
