Terrence Williams should be back in the NBA, and soon.
Terrence Williams’ knucklehead behaviors and off the court issues have been well documented, but he shall soon be given another chance. A chance that Card Nation hopes he makes the most of. Over the last 7 games for the L.A. D-Fenders T-Will as Louisville fans know him, has averaged 29 points a game. On Friday night T-Will exceeded that average by scoring a D-Fender’s record 50 points, while also grabbing 9 rebounds and dishing out 4 assist.
The D-Fenders are the NBA D-League affiliate of the L.A. Lakers, a team sitting at 16-30 that could really use some help from a versatile player like T-Will. And because of that, I don’t see T-Will playing many more games as a D-Fender. The Lakers helped resurrect Earl Clark which led him to signing a decent contract with the Cavs, maybe they could do the same for another former Cardinal. With that said I look for Louisville’s former point forward to be back in the NBA real soon. Let’s just hope this time he stays a while, because we all know he has the talent to do so.
