Micky Crum

Columbus, OH  Hamilton Township High School

#45 Tight End

6’4″ 246 lbs.

Committed Since 4/13/13

Micky Crum is a powerhouse Tight End who can play multiple positions, and did so in high school.  The Cardinals recruited him and plan on using him primarily as a tight end.  Micky possesses good hands and speed for a guy of his size.  Micky never wavered through the coaching change and signed with Louisville on National Signing Day.  Coach Bobby Petrino raved about Micky’s skills and versatility at the signing day party and I believe he’s going to be a stud for the Cardinals.

Charles Standberry

Montgomery, AL  Carver High School

#39 Tight End

6’3″ 200 lbs.

Committed Since 2/2/14

Charles Standberry was a late addition to the recruiting class, but one Coach Petrino will be happy that he pried away from Ole Miss.  Charles can line up at either tight end or as a big receiver.  I look for Charles to be a big time red-zone target during his time at UofL, because of his height and he seems to excel at going for and getting the ball.  I look for Standberry to improve the Cards passing game, not only with his receiving, but with his down field blocking as well; he’s a very physical player.
