Where do we turn Next?

Where do we turn Next?

The loss to Memphis State really hurt. Probably hurt our pride more than our resume but still the fact remains that it hurt. The question remains, where do we turn next? The simple answer to that question is “Just Win Baby” as the late Al Davis would say. We have an important road game at SMU where no team in conference has been able to get a victory this year; in fact Cincinnati got destroyed when visiting SMU by over 30 points. So if the Cardinals are able to go on the road and Beat SMU it would say a ton for the Cardinals body of work this late in the season.  The Cardinals will then get the chance to sweep a visiting UCONN team on senior night. This senior night should be an impressive one when we get the chance to say goodbye to Russ Smith, Luke Hancock, SVT, and last but not least Tim (Wichita) Henderson.  These two wins would be impressive on a tournament resume and after our last lost in which we basically gave the game away we need this from a moral standpoint. We were able to have an awesome February but did not continue into March, I believe it’s time to go win out and take care of the conference tournament like we have had a history of doing recently. Let’s go Cards, time to take care of business.
