Louisville Cardinals Bringing Size

Recruiting Size on the Way

If you watched UofL basketball you might of saw one weakness that was obvious in any game where the other team held the key against that weakness SIZE. Pitino has also noticed that we lack quality big men to hold our own on the back board, and this recruiting class really focuses on those needs. In this class we have signed 4 players over 6ft 7 inches. I hate to admit it but with the program down the road has really made a point of recruiting size at every position, similar to what Denny Crum did in his prime. I believe a good balance of speed and size are the keys to having a quality club that doesn’t possess many match up issues but causes them for opponents. Below I have included a list of all incoming players with their size listed. This class could really pan out down the road if we develop our big men, all have shown potential to be very good.
