There is news this morning that will interest the basketball enthusiasts around the region.  It was announced this morning that the Yum Center will host its first NBA game on October 4th between the Miami Heat and the New Orleans Pelicans.  That means basketball fans from the around the area will be able to go watch Lebron James, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, and Anthony Davis in our own arena.

Tickets are slated to go on sale on April 19th at 1:00 pm.  One would imagine that current season ticket holders might have the first opportunity to buy their seats, but that wasn’t mentioned in the press release.   This seems like an opportunity that is just too good to pass up.  Lets show the NBA that we are the basketball capital of the world and bring a sell-out crowd to this unique event.  There are very few times when UL fans and UK fans can come together and watch a basketball game without the pressure of bragging rights.  Don’t miss this chance.
