We take a look at five different reactions we had to the Associated Press’ Week 11 Poll and where the Louisville basketball team landed.

It’s that time of the week again where we take a hard look at the Associated Press’ weekly college basketball poll. The Louisville basketball team moved up a couple spots to number 12, which sounds about right for where they currently are.

Other than that, there were a couple of teams that we felt weren’t ranked correctly this week, especially when you go back and look at the common opponents with other teams and who they have actually beaten this year.

Let’s take a look at our five reactions to the “Week 11 Poll” by the Associated Press:

5. Duke Dropped Like A Rock

Things haven’t been so easy for the Blue Devils this season, especially now that Coach K isn’t coaching the team due to back surgery. It also doesn’t help that Amile Jefferson has missed some time because of an injury either.

Pretty much the entire season has been full of trouble, but that doesn’t mean they can’t turn things around rather quickly. Duke has more than enough talent on their team to get on a streak towards the end of the season, but they will have to do so from outside of the top fifteen.

Well, at least for another week.

The Blue Devils don’t even have to play until Saturday, where they will get to play the 12-4 Miami Hurricanes at home. If I had to guess, I would say that Duke gets their 15th win of the season this weekend after a much-needed week off.
