Louisville football’s season doesn’t kick off until September 2nd, but we take our best stab at predicting the outcome of each game.

We are less than 60 days away from the beginning of the Scott Satterfield era for the Louisville football program. Heading into the 2019 season, the Cards will have one goal and one goal only. Compete.

That doesn’t mean compete for an ACC Title, or a National Title, or even for a bowl berth. What it means is compete every day, every down, all the time, no matter what – something we didn’t see in the final year of the Bobby Petrino era.

With a new culture in the program and new motivation to fight for everything, we can expect to see a much improved Cardinal team this season. Will they be able to surpass expectations of winning three or four games? Could they make a bowl game in year one? Will they be able to pull out victories against some of the teams who have dominated the Cards over the last few seasons?

I do my best to predict each of Louisville football’s 12 games on the docket for 2019 and provide analysis of what could happen, what will happen, and how the Cards will finish the season.

Enjoy!
