4. Ray Spalding | Forward | University of Louisville

Ray Spalding has been playing some great basketball over the past couple of weeks. Not to mention, he has stepped his game up ever since Anas Mahmoud went down with his concussion. The experience Spalding is getting right now will prove to be huge for the Cardinals throughout this season.

He finished the game against Southern Illinois with 8 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals. It has been pretty impressive to see his physicality and defensive awareness on the court this year. He looks much, much better than he did in his freshman season under Pitino.

Spalding has a high-ceiling with this basketball team, let’s hope this is the start of many great things to come from the second-year player from Louisville, Kentucky.
