PG. Louisville Cardinals. CHRISTEN CUNNINGHAM. C-. CC met his match last night against Syracuse. 0-6 from the field, 0 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 turnovers were enough for me to conclude it was his worst game as a Card. He struggled to get shots in the zone and get into the lane, and to me looked a bit shook by the Orange. I believe he’ll bounce back, but Wednesday night was rough.

Louisville Cardinals. KHWAN FORE. B. Fore honestly might have played his best game offensive for Louisville, going 3/5 from the field including 2/3 from the three, scoring 8 points. Defensively he was limited due to the height of Tyus Battle and Elijah Hughes on the wing, as they combined for 29 points.. SG

Sutton really struggled playing on both the wing and at the free throw line against the 2-3 zone. He had his worst offensive performance of the season going 1/10 from the field, and turned the ball over two times. Like CC, I believe he’ll bounce back but the Cards really needed more from him.. SF. Louisville Cardinals. DWAYNE SUTTON. C-

C. The bad shot selection for Louisville was led by Jordan Nwora, who went 3/13 from the field, including 1/5 from three. Syracuse lured him into bad shots from extremely deep range and he fell right into it. His bad shooting also led to bad defense, which Chris Mack has pointed out this season numerous times his a real struggle for him.. PF. Louisville Cardinals. JORDAN NWORA

MALIK WILLIAMS. C+. Williams has really been struggling of late, getting away from the inside attack and ferocious defense that allowed him to take the starting center position. Offensively Williams did some nice things, but overall he provided very little impact to the Cards.. C. Louisville Cardinals

C+. Like Williams, Enoch did some things offensively and was okay on the glass. But due to the length of Syracuse, the Cardinals could never take advantage of his size and talent against Chukwu and Dolezaj.. C. Louisville Cardinals. STEVEN ENOCH

C. RyMac played 26 total minutes, his second highest of the season, and really didn’t do much with it. All eight of his shots came from the 3 point line, only knocking down two and really provided nothing else to the offense, which is his primary role on the floor.. PG. Louisville Cardinals. RYAN MCMAHON

C. Looked like DP was rounding the corner, but Wednesday night he reverted to the same player he had been prior to the Duke game. In 8 minutes Perry took 3 shots (none of which were quality looks), turned the ball over, and picked up two fouls. Not a great performance by any means.. PG. Louisville Cardinals. DARIUS PERRY

B-. After not playing during the Duke game and seeing just 1 minute against Clemson, VJ got some extended playing time and provided a decent defensive lift. He finished with 2 points, 1 rebound, and 1 block.. SF. Louisville Cardinals. V.J. KING

Inc.. In a waving of the white flag, Akoy checked in late and proceeded to clank a shot from under the basket off the bottom of the rim.. PF. Louisville Cardinals. AKOY AGAU

Louisville’s schedule gets no easier, as they’ll now have just two days to prepare for another top 5 matchup, this one against Virginia – a team they’ve now lost to eight times in a row. With Pitino gone, I believe there won’t be the typical jitters that come with playing against Virginia, but honestly I have no idea how Louisville will respond after dropping three of their last four.

dark. Next. Stats don’t lie, one of these six teams will win the national championship

The Cards will don the new Harlem Renaissance jerseys in front of what will likely be a ruckus crowd at the KFC Yum! Center, which could him give them a boost that they desperately need.
