1/31/15 vs. No. 13 North Carolina – W 78-68 in OT.

The Cardinals had UNC at Chapel Hill just 3 weeks prior until Marcus Paige stole the victory on a last-second layup. A chance at revenge in their home arena, in a prime time white out game, the pressure was on for the Cards to notch a high-quality win for their resume.

Montrezl Harrell had surprisingly returned for a junior season and was a key piece to a young team that had put together a solid campaign. At the time of this matchup, Louisville had only lost 3 games on the season – but they lacked a signature win. A sold out Yum Center was rocking and ready to see if their guys could get the job done.

For most of the game, Carolina was the better team. It seemed as if, once again, the (insert color here)-out was cursed. But Louisville kept fighting, clawing from down 13 to within 10, and finally cut it to single digits on a highlight play for the ages.

What kind of fan would I be if I didn’t post the video?

I mean, what more can I say after that? That’s it. That’s number 5.
