Oklahoma City Thunder

Picks: 27 (first round), 50 (second round)

The Thunder are projected to have a late first and second-round pick and while it’s unclear if OKC will take him that high, there’s no guarantee he’ll still be on the board when their next selection comes around. Like the 76ers, the Thunder need floor spacers; the only difference between two is that the latter will be addressed with adding more frontcourt depth. Danilo Gallinari and Andre Roberson are set to hit the market this offseason as unrestricted free agents and the organization may be tasked with replacing both.

Oklahoma City has a slew of young players that they hope will continue to develop, but Nwora would be a great fit. Having a future Hall of Fame floor general in Chris Paul running the show, Nwora’s scoring arsenal would likely be maximized. Being a crafty shooter, his ability to catch and shoot, create his own shot, and thrive off screens would offer a potential high-end role player that contributes depth at the wing position.

When his shot is falling, Nwora is capable of scoring in microwave-like fashion. It’s been rumored that NBA GM’s view him as a possible asset for their respective teams and his offensive identity fits what the Thunder need. He likely will never reach all-star caliber, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be effective. Nwora would thrive in Billy Donovan’s system with the current roster makeup. He could potentially develop into a tertiary-level scorer and serviceable defender. Also lost in consideration, he is an above-average rebounder who hits the boards hard.

3 reasons Jordan Nwora will be next all-time Louisville great

Often overlooked due to concerns, Nwora is one of the most productive scorers in the 2020 NBA draft class; in a historically weak class, not many hold the ability to come in right away and contribute on the court. In win-now mode, Oklahoma City taking one of the most NBA-ready prospects would be wise.
