No. 2: Donovan Mitchell scores 50-plus points for the second time in series, joins elite company:

In Game four of the Utah-Denver series, with the Jazz leading the series 2-1, Donovan Mitchell scored 51 points (15-27 FG, 4-7 3PT FG, 17-18 FT) in a 129-127 Jazz victory to take a 3-1 series lead. With 54.7 second left, Donovan Mitchell took Paul Millsap one-on-one and drained a three-pointer to give the Jazz a 122-118 lead, ultimately proving to be the winning shot.

With his second 50-plus point performance in this series against the Nuggets, Mitchell joined Michael Jordan (who did it twice), Allen Iverson and Wilt Chamberlain as the only players in NBA history with multiple 50-plus point games in a playoff series. Mitchell scored 18 of his 51 points in the fourth quarter of this game and led the Jazz to yet another big win.

Michael Jordan, Allen Iverson and Wilt Chamberlain are all legendary Hall of Famers and some of the most influential NBA players of their eras. Nobody is saying Mitchell will be as good as any of these three legends, but there are no limits to what he can achieve in his career, especially if he is joining such elite company in just his third season in the NBA.

Donovan Mitchell has an incredible career ahead of him and his top moment from the NBA Bubble changed him from a young, first-time All-Star, to one of the faces of the future for the NBA.
