Marshon Ford – TE – Junior – 6’2 – 240 – Draft Expectation: Undrafted

When I wrote this last month, I gave Ford almost no shot of being drafted, but recently he’s seen a little buzz to be picked late in the draft. I still think it’s most likely that he ends up signing as an undrafted free agent deal with some team looking to add depth to their tight end room.

Ford’s talent is undeniable, but spending most of his career in Scott Satterfield’s offense saw him used more as a run blocker than a pass catcher.

You see his name brought up by fans as a late-round sleeper, but I’m yet to see Ford in any mock drafts by the major sports outlets. I think Ford does have a solid chance to have a successful professional career, whether that be in the NFL, XFL, CFL, or USFL.

But I don’t think we’ll hear his name called this week.
