3. Mikel Brown Jr.

Mikel Brown Jr. tried his hardest to keep the Cardinals in the game against Arkansas and brought Louisville back within nine; however, it wouldn’t be enough. Brown Jr. led the Cardinals in scoring with 22, and added five rebounds and three assists to his resume.

However, Brown Jr. went 2-for-13 from the three-point line in the Cardinals' last game, which cost the team as the game progressed. He will need to improve his shooting percentage against the Hoosiers, or else Louisville will have another long day. It is also going to be crucial that Brown Jr. and other guards step up and help out with rebounds. Louisville has to be more aggressive on the glass, and that includes Brown Jr.

The standout freshman continues to improve at both scoring and finding the open man. Brown Jr. has shown that he has the potential to be special and will have to continue to show up when the Cardinals need him. If Brown Jr. can continue his scoring success while improving his three-point shooting, the Cardinals should have no problem getting past the Hoosiers with a win.
