1. Chucky Hepburn
Chucky Hepburn is the main reason Louisville basketball is back on the map. Hepburn was the highest-ranked transfer entering this season for the Cardinals and only got glaringly better in every stat.
Hepburn secured First-Team All-ACC and Defensive Player of the Year in the ACC due to his 16.2 points, 3.5 rebounds, 5.8 assists, and 2.5 steals while shooting 43.5 percent from the floor and 33.2 percent from beyond the arc.
The Cardinal's star point guard could take the game on both ends of the floor, and he showed it in multiple games. Hepburn had a career-defining game against Pitt when he scored 37 points, scored the Cardinal's last 18 points of the first half, and splashed six threes in a row.
Hepburn scored 15 points or more in 20 games, 20 points or more in eight games, and 30 points or more in two games. He was also a lockdown defender and could pick the opponent's pocket and lead the Cardinals on game-changing runs.
The ACC Defensive Player of the Year had 13 games with three steals or more, five with five steals or more, three with six steals or more, and his season-high was seven steals against Indiana.
After kissing the Cardinal on Senior Day, Hepburn will forever be a Louisville legend, and his production on the court will be irreplaceable. Mikel Brown Jr. will have big shoes to fill next year, but the Cardinals faithful are excited to see the 5-star recruit give it his best shot.
