1. Mikel Brown Jr. leads Louisville to a massive win

What a game from Louisville's 5-star phenom. Mikel Brown Jr. had some freshman moments where he might have rushed a shot or tried to do a bit too much, but the point guard is going to have a special season. Brown Jr. finished the game with a game-high 29 points, while adding two rebounds and five assists.

He was weaving through the lane while finishing over the Wildcats' frontcourt, or finishing through a ton of contact. He also showed that he can shoot it from beyond the arc, as he splashed three 3-pointers. And what makes him so special is his ability to playmake. Brown Jr. has the skill to twitch through the lane and has excellent vision to either find Fru under the basket or a shooter behind the 3-point line.

This team is going to go as far as he can take them. When he gets hot, he is nearly impossible to slow down. He showed he can catch fire from beyond the arc, and then he showed that if they leave him alone, he can blow by his defender every time. Brown Jr. had a massive performance tonight and proved why he is going to be a lottery pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.
