One of the biggest names from Louisville to enter the portal is the Cardinals' former backup quarterback and 3-star commitment, Deuce Adams. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound QB committed to Wisconsin after entering the portal as a redshirt freshman. Adams committed to Louisville as a former 3-star prospect out of high school, as he was ranked as high as the No. 631 recruit in the 2024 recruiting class. Adams committed to Louisville over Power Four programs Baylor and Cal.
He will now be Colton Joseph’s backup quarterback after starting in one game for Louisville in two seasons. He completed 15 of 21 of his passes while throwing for 112 yards and rushing for 33 yards. Adams commits to Wisconsin as the No. 80 quarterback in the portal and the No. 1050 overall transfer in the portal.
