Louisville lost three quarterbacks to the Transfer Portal, as it was clear Jeff Brohm would land his starting QB for the 2026 season from the portal. Brady Allen was one of the three quarterbacks to enter the portal, and after being ranked as high as No. 849 overall and the 59th-best quarterback, Allen committed to Indiana State.
The 6-foot-6, 220-pound quarterback was technically co-backup to Deuce Adams with Miller Moss this past season, but Adams earned the start against SMU when Miller Moss was injured. Allen and Adams battled all year to be that No. 2 QB as Allen played in two games this season, completing 6-of-9 passes for 69 yards while throwing a touchdown and an interception against Eastern Kentucky, and 2-of-3 for six yards and an interception against SMU.
