5. Reach: DeAndre Moore Jr.

The Cardinals fans have continued to make a strong push for Texas transfer DeAndre Moore Jr. Louisville needs to add a lot of depth at the wide receiver position, and adding a piece like Moore would be a massive addition to this wide receiver room. The former 4-star recruit out of high school was a Louisville commit for 6 months before flipping to Texas.

After spending his first two seasons with Texas, Moore is in the portal, and the Cardinals are once again in the mix. Moore took a visit to Louisville earlier in the week, after already visiting Ohio State and Kentucky. Since Louisville’s visit, he has also visited Colorado and has been growing an interest in Ole Miss. On3 Sports reported that Kentucky, Ole Miss, and Colorado are the top three schools in his recruiting process, leaving the Cardinals on the outside.

Moore ranks as high as the No. 16 overall player and the fifth-best wide receiver in the Transfer Portal. The 6-foot, 190-pound receiver logged 39 catches for 456 receiving yards and seven touchdowns his freshman season and 38 catches for 532 yards and four touchdowns his sophomore year. With Meeks gone, Louisville needs another reliable receiver, and Moore is emerging as a true candidate.
