4. Realistic- Jayden Johnson

After striking out on both Kinney and Landrew, it wouldn't be shocking if Louisville goes back to the Kentucky athletes. The top athlete from Kentucky who still resides in the state is Louisville native Jayden Johnson.

The 4-star recruit ranks as high as No. 177 in the nation and the No. 39 shooting guard. He currently attends Trinity High School down the street, and with the Cardinals scrambling for answers in this 2026 recruiting class, it might be smart to go after a local star.

Johnson has been recruited by Notre Dame, Indiana, Missouri, Texas A&M, and others. His offer list isn't too long, making it feel as if Kelsey and the Cardinals picked up their recruiting efforts with him; they would have a good shot at landing his commitment. Johnson is a name Louisville fans should become familiar with, and hopefully, after striking out on these two elite guards, Louisville can land this under-the-radar 4-star shooting guard.
