Tryan Stokes recently cut his list down to five schools, and the Cardinals were one of the five. Louisville fans are all-in on this elite 5-star recruit as he ranks No. 1 in the nation at 6-foot-7, 225 pounds. Louisville landed a couple of visits last year, including an official visit in October.
Stokes is a Louisville native, and the fans are expressing to the nation and the program that they want him to be a Cardinal next year. However, after signing with Nike and taking visits to Oregon, Kansas, and Kentucky, Louisville fans are beginning to accept that they might be on the outside looking in.
The feeling is that Kentucky is the heavy favorite right now, and with his decision coming soon, Louisville is bracing for the worst. It will feel like a stab in the back if he commits to Kentucky, but after being heavy favorites at the beginning and being born and raised in Louisville, the Cardinals will always have a shot at landing their No. 1 dream target.
