2. Reach- Ikenna Alozie
Another guard the Cardinals have some history with is 5-star combo guard Ikenna Alozie. Louisville striking out on Kinney and Landrew makes it feel like Alozie would be a perfect fit to go after, as the 6-foot-2, 180-pound guard is an elite two-way player who can score at will, but cause havoc on the defensive side.
Alozie's recruiting process has been relatively quiet for some time now, but the Cardinals are one of his top spots as they made his final eight list in June. Since then, nothing has happened, but he ranks as a top 30 recruit and the No. 6 point guard, making it seem like a perfect option to go after now that they whiffed on Kinney and Landrew.
Alozie is an athletic guard who can rebound and defend, while he has some areas for improvement in shooting the ball. Last year with Utah Prospects in the Nike EYBL circuit, he averaged 17.7 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game. The Cards are going up against SEC giants Alabama and Kentucky, while also facing off against powerhouses Gonzaga, Houston, Arizona, Washington, and Kansas.
