5. Reach: Kwame Evans Jr.

When thinking about who Louisville can replace Rooths with, Oregon transfer Kwame Evans Jr. is the dream candidate. The former 5-star has even more potential and upside than Rooths, as he ranked as high as No. 15 in the 2023 recruiting class and No. 4 among power forwards.

Evans continues to improve with more game-time experience and reps as he comes off his best season last year with the Ducks. The 6-foot-10, 220-pound forward is an elite two-way player that Louisville desperately needs as he plays physical basketball on both ends of the floor.

Last season, the 4-star transfer averaged a career high 13.3 points, 7.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 blocks, and 1.0 steals per game, while shooting 45.4 percent from the field. He now ranks as a consensus 4-star transfer and No. 12 in the portal and No. 4 among power forwards.
