3. Dream: Paulius Murauskas
With Louisville losing Rooths and Fru, the Cardinals' dream addition would be the Saint Mary’s transfer Paulius Murauskas. The 4-star transfer ranks as high as No. 1 overall in the portal and No. 1 among power forwards as he is coming off a dominant season with the Gaels.
The former 4-star Arizona commit averaged 18.4 points and 7.6 rebounds last season for Saint Mary’s and had impressive shooting splits, shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 84 percent from the charity stripe. Murauskas is a physical forward who can back his defender down and get an easy bucket, or is an elite mid-range scorer who can shoot over his defender.
He made the All-West Coast Conference Team last season, as his 606 points ranked second in the conference and his 48.2 shooting percentage ranked third. It won’t be an easy get for Kelsey, and honestly, it won’t be too cheap, but if Louisville fans want to dream, Murauskas is their perfect target.
