3. Dream - Darrion Williams
Today's biggest dream target is Darrion Williams, the 6-foot-6 transfer ranked as the No. 6 best player in the transfer portal and the No. 1 best small forward. While it is clear that Louisville has some depth at the small forward position with Hadley and Khani Rooths, a player like Williams would take this team to the next level.
Williams averaged 15.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.6 assists, and 1.3 steals while shooting 43.9 percent from the floor and 34.0 percent from beyond the arc. Last season, he averaged 1.4 3-pointers made per season as he scored 20 points or more in eight games, including his 28-point performance against Drake in March Madness.
The Texas Tech transfer would provide much-needed NCAA Tournament experience. He was the Red Raiders' second-leading scorer last season and helped lead them to the Elite Eight. After his impressive season, he went on to earn All-Big 12 First Team. His ability to score, dominate the game, and take over is one glaring reason the Cardinals must target this dream target.
The 5-star transfer should be one of Kelsey's No. 1 targets in the portal, as he would be a great small forward on this Louisville basketball team next season.
