5. Reach- Ikenna Alozie

A 5-star recruit who has flown under the radar in many eyes is the elite combo guard Ikenna Alozie. The 5-star guard hasn't had much recruiting noise lately, but the last update fans and teams got was when he cut his list down to just eight schools, including the Cardinals.

Alozie ranks as high as No. 27 in the nation and is the No. 6 point guard in the 2026 class. He is an excellent option for Louisville to consider pursuing after missing out on Kinney, but it is clear they have a tall task ahead, as they are up against Alabama, Gonzaga, Kansas, Houston, Kentucky, Arizona, and Washington.

Alozie is an elite combo guard who is dominant on both sides of the ball. The 6-foot-2, 180-pound guard averaged 17.7 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game. Louisville fans are crushed by missing out on Kinney, but if Kelsey can land an official visit and eventually a commitment, it would make a strong case for his bold 'PGU' claim.
