Dream: John Blackwell
Louisville basketball added a Wisconsin transfer before, and now the dream is to do it again. The Cardinals added Chucky Hepburn a couple of offseasons ago, and that certainly panned out, the dream is to go and target John Blackwell.
The Wisconsin transfer played with Hepburn his freshman season, and now, after three years with the Badgers, he will enter the transfer portal as well. Blackwell is immediately one of the top players in the Transfer Portal, averaging 19.1 points, 5.1 rebounds, 2.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 43 percent from the field and 39 percent from downtown.
The 5-star transfer splashed 96 3’s this past season and scored 20 points or more 16 times and 30 points or more five times. He is ranked as high as No. 2 in the portal and No. 1 among shooting guards. It won’t be an easy target for Pat Kelsey, but maybe with some help from Hepburn, Louisville can get the 5-star transfer.
