3. Dream - Perry Thompson
With it being early in the Transfer Portal, there aren’t tons of offensive linemen and defensive backs worth labeling as “dream” targets. So, we are going to put another wide receiver here, and it is going to be the Auburn transfer Perry Thompson. There isn’t much more than it would be a massive splash that would help boost this offense and replace Chris Bell and Caullin Lacy.
The Cardinals' offense needs a lot of attention this offseason, and Thompson is a dream target. The sophomore receiver was a former 4-star recruit out of high school, ranked as high as No. 38 in the 2024 recruiting class. He now has a high ceiling with a build like Bell's, as he is 6-foot-3 and 225 pounds.
He ranks No. 11 overall in 247Sports Transfer portal rankings and is the No. 2 wide receiver behind Marsh. He hasn’t had much action at Auburn, with only 22 catches for 280 yards and one touchdown in two seasons, but with his ceiling, he has breakout potential for 2026.
