Louisville Cardinals Basketball: Chris Smith Signs With The New York Knicks

The New York Knicks have surprised us all, as they have picked up former Louisville guard, Chris Smith.

Chris Smith is now the 15th player on the Knicks roster, but there is still no word for whether or not the contract is guaranteed.

Chris Smith will join his bigger brother, J.R. Smith.

Smith played in the NBA Summer League, where he averaged 5.2 points, two rebounds and 1.4 assists per game.

This is almost shocking, based on the fact that his numbers in the Summer League were not really impressive.

We do know that Smith will bring a very good work ethic to go along with a fantastic shooting skill. I have no doubt that Chris Smith will impact this team in some way. There is a chance that he may end up in the D-League, which would help him adjust to the NBA game.

Either way, we would like to wish Chris Smith the best, as he continues his NBA career.
