Louisville won their first ever ACC basketball game but as UofL fans learned last night in Winston Salem, the ACC is a whole new ballgame
Now, with the first full weekend of conference play behind us, Big Red Louie and a few other Fansided ACC blogs take a shot at ranking all 15 teams. There are clear tiers of talent in the ACC but as we saw with GT-ND and WF-UL, any team in this conference can beat another.
Sine the league’s loss in the Big Ten/ACC Challenge the conference has proven to be one of the best in College Basketball. ACC teams have garnered wins over non conference teams like #2 Wisconsin, #12 Ohio State, #18 Arkansas, #21 Maryland and #24 Illinois . With three top 5 teams in Duke, Virginia and Louisville, the ACC can lay claim to one of the best defensive teams in the country in UVA as well as one of the most efficient offensive teams in Duke.
Voting works like this: 1st place votes get 15 pts, 2nd place 14 pts….15th place 1 pt.
