. Tight End. Cleveland Browns. Gary Barnidge. 4. player. 53

Talk about a guy who came from nowhere to have a huge 2015 season. Prior to last year, Barnidge’s career high in receiving yards was 242 in 2009 with the Carolina Panthers. It seemed as though he was going to be another guy just trying to make any NFL roster year in and year out. Well, that was until last year.

ESPN noted that, Barnidge had 79 receptions, 9 touchdowns and 1,043 receiving yards in 2015. He multiplied his career high by over four times. That is simply incredible for a guy who plays for the Browns, as Cleveland struggled with consistent quarterback play all year long.

Former Baylor star Robert Griffin III, joined the Browns this past offseason. Griffin has struggled with injuries so far in his NFL career, but this could be a re-birth in Ohio. If Griffin is able to win the starting QB job in 2016, Barnidge could have another incredible season.

Next: No. 3: Teddy Bridgewater

In 2015, Barnidge amazed the NFL Media and fans with amazing touchdown catches that earned him the nickname, “Big-play Barnidges”. If he can show that last year wasn’t a fluke, he will surely be one of the Cardinals every NFL fan knows.
