It has been reported that Louisville football may be adding another great addition to their 2017 recruiting class.

How exciting is the month of August? Seriously. Louisville football has begun fall camp to prepare to this season, NFL preseason football is beginning and recruiting has been taking shape for both the basketball and football programs.

It is being reported that wide receiver Corey Reed is supposed to make his decision sometime this evening on which school he will be attending next season.

Mike Hughes from 247 Sports, noted that:

"Reed, who visited Louisville last month, is rated the No. 77 WR nationally by 247Sports Composite."

Reed would be another great addition to the Louisville football team who already has another solid recruit from the state of Georgia in Josh Johnson. At 6-foot-2 and 200 pounds, Reed will be another big receiver for the Cardinals and head coach Bobby Petrino.

It’s looking pretty good that Corey Reed will be choosing the Cardinals because he retweeted this on Twitter earlier today:

Who is Corey Reed? Well, go check out his game film on Hudl’s website. It doesn’t look as though he is Josh Johnson-type fast, but he definitely is strong in many other areas.

Just on tape, Reed doesn’t shy away from contact. You have to love and respect that from a receiver. Not only will that make defenders play him differently, it also gives him an advantage in one on one match-ups. It’s pretty clear that there weren’t too many guys in his highlight tape that could compete with him by themselves.

He showed great ability to adjust to the ball in the air, make guys miss and throw some big-time blocks for his teammates.
