The senior from Florida State is an absolute beast on the defensive side of the football. With Louisville usually running with a 3-4 defense, their linebackers have multiple opportunities to drop into coverage or rush the passer. This leaves their inside lineman with a huge responsibility to create pressure up the middle and shut down the running game.

CBS Sports had to this say about Walker:

"Walker is one of the most experienced players on FSU’s defense its most producitve pass rusher with 10.5 sacks in 2015. His decision to come back for his senior season not only boosts the Seminoles’ defense, but it provides an opportunity for him to improve on his draft stock."

Louisville has a huge void to fill with Sheldon Rankins leaving for the NFL Draft and linebacker Trevon Young missing this entire 2016 season because of a hip injury. This trade would give Louisville options on how they could use Walker.

Petrino could use him inside or he could use this 6-foot-3 defensive end as an outside linebacker in their 3-4 defense.
