The most important factor on Louisville’s team is Lamar Jackson. The second biggest factor is his health. If he has to miss time due to an injury, that is going to absolutely destroy any hope of making it to the ACC Championship game.

Robinson has had some off-the-field issues over the past year, but he is still a great offensive lineman.

CBS Sports noted that:

"He’s started every game over the last two years at left tackle and has all the size and skills one could possibly want at the position. Robinson is 6-foot-6, 327 pounds with tremendous strength and foot speed. Despite being a left tackle — considered the pass side — Robinson’s biggest strength is as a run blocker. He is simply a force. Robinson is at his best when he’s moving forward as he has excellent balance creates leverage in the run game."

He would give the Louisville football program a great offensive lineman that would help open up the run game and protect Jackson. The Cardinals struggled with protection throughout the 2015 season and they need to be better in 2016 if they want to take the next step forward.

Protecting Jackson should be job number for Louisville. Cam Robinson would definitely provide protection inside for the Cardinals.
