Louisville football: 15 players to watch in the Charlotte game
By Derek Snyder
The man. The myth. The Legend.
Lamar Jackson has been predicted to walk on water this season if you ask the most die-hard Cardinals fans. Okay, that may be a little bit of a stretch, but there is a ton of hype surrounding Jackson this year.
Lamar Jackson will have met expectations in this game against Charlotte if he doesn’t take a snap in the second half of the game. After having a great spring game and Music City Bowl, fans will be looking for Jackson to make big plays in the pocket throughout this game against the 49ers.
He doesn’t need to be scrambling around in this game, but he does need to show above average accuracy against a low-level opponent. He was forced to go through his progressions this off-season and he needs to show that he is capable of making plays happen with his arm. This game will give him an opportunity to do so.
