Cole Hikutini is going to have a great day against Charlotte. He is going to be one of the more reliable targets for quarterback Lamar Jackson all season long. Coming off a solid season, look for Hikutini to find himself among the best tight ends in the ACC, by the end of the year.

Realistically, he could see a lot of field-time in this game, even though it’s against Charlotte. James Quick and Jamari Staples are sure to get a lot of attention from the 49ers defense, leaving Hikutini with more opportunities to catch the football.

He has an ability to beat linebackers deep downfield and this is something to look for in this Thursday night match-up. Coming off a 100 yard plus game against Texas A&M in the Music City Bowl, look for Hikutini to continue his success with Lamar Jackson.

If there was fantasy football for college football, this would be a week where you would have Hikutini as a “must start”.
