Fields has made it onto about every preseason All-American team that exists. In all seriousness, Fields has an opportunity to become another NFL 1st round draft pick from the University of Louisville by season’s end. He has all the tools to be the top defensive player in the ACC and one of the best outside linebackers in the entire country.

It wasn’t too long ago that he won the BIG 12 Defensive Player of the Year award at TCU.

Louisville needs Fields to set a tone for the defense this season. In this match-up, he will have mis-matches all over the field. Other than experience at the wide receiver and running back positions, Charlotte will struggle to find consistency against Louisville.

Look for Fields to be a giant among men in this matchup verse Charlotte. It shouldn’t be a surprise if he racks up one or two sacks before this game is over.
