Louisville football: 15 players to watch in the Charlotte game
By Derek Snyder
It sounds as though the 49ers may have their guy at quarterback this season. They had multiple guys competing for the job last year, but Olsen is definitely the guy this go around.
Here is what College Football News had to say about Olsen:
"Offensive optimism comes from the arrival of transfer QB Kevin Olsen, who came aboard via the junior college route, but was once a heralded Miami signee. Provided he has his act together—on and off the field—Olsen could be the answer for an offense that lacked competency under center a year ago. And if there’s even a little more pop and potential through the air, it’s going to help spring the team’s two best skill guys, RB Kalif Phillips and WR Austin Duke"
It doesn’t matter where he has played before, Papa Johns Cardinal Stadium will be on of the toughest places he will play all season. Louisville returns a tough and experienced defense, therefore Olsen will need to play a flawless game to have a chance at upsetting the Cardinals.
