Jamari Staples has big-time expectations coming into the 2016 season. He is also one of the Cardinals who have gained some national attention over the last month or so. At 6-foot-4, Staples is always going to be one of the tallest guys on the field. When you match his height with his great vertical, you get a defensive coordinator’s nightmare.

This is exactly what he will be for the Charlotte 49ers.

Louisville has so much depth at receiver, this may be a good full half of domination from Jamari Staples. Louisville’s offense is full of weapons and Staples is at the top of the pack. He shouldn’t have any problems creating space on Thursday.

It will be interesting to see how Petrino decides to spread the field against Charlotte. He could be looking for Lamar Jackson to take a few shots downfield for Staples early on in the game. If they can connect, Staples will surely have a huge stat-line in comparison for the minutes he will have played in this one.
